WHO WE ARE
Launchpad Learning Center is a ministry of Lavon Drive Baptist Church, which has been serving the Garland community since 1962. Launchpad is a fully licensed and state regulated child care center that has been created due to a desire to see quality Christian care available for families with children ages 8 weeks-6th grade. Our caring, qualified staff will provide competent, nurturing care in a secure environment you can trust to love and protect your children.
Here at Launchpad, we know that your child’s safety and development is your number one priority, because that’s our priority as well! That’s why our staff is fully trained in Adult and Child CPR and First Aid. We have a fully secured facility with fobbed entrances from the outside. We will also continue to be closely following the CDC recommendations for Covid-19 safety measures, and adapt as their recommendations change. We are passionate about seeing kids grow and learn, and about providing the peace of mind their family needs in a daycare or after school program. Our staff has a teacher-led and character-building philosophy that comes from the biblical foundation—Proverbs 22:6a “Train up a child in the way he should go.” We are grateful to have such a loving team here at Launchpad who provide a warm, welcoming environment in which students take their first steps toward group education and socialization.
What we do
Beyond the benefit of having your children cared for in a loving environment, they will be excited to be a part of our first class facilities. We offer age-appropriate playgrounds and activities both inside and outside. We will provide you with daily reports, using the Brightwheel childcare app to help you see what your child has accomplished each day. This is a way for you as parents to know what they did in class each day and how we can continue to work as a team in their development. Another benefit is our meal program. Each month we will provide you with our monthly menus so you can see the nutritious foods your child will be eating each day. Lastly, we will work with you in development updates. This will allow us as a team to make sure we are doing all we can to assist you as a parent in their day-to-day developments.

Payment info
Registration Fee will be due for each new student upon enrollment and a renewal registration will be each year.
Our tuition is based off weekly rates. These rates will be divided by ages and discounts are available for multiple children.
Each year we will have a curricular activity fee to help us provide the most up to date curriculum and activities for your children’s learning and development skills.
Tuition Fees: for payments, we utilize the payment portal on the Brightwheel app. This is an easy way to view invoices and make quick payments online!
